Athletics Day 2019

Hi, this is my 4th blog post. Today we had Athletics Day in our school, we had lots of fun. First we had to put sunblock on so that our body gets protected. Second we had everyone put their school hats to protect their eyes from the sun. Third we had to line up in our age groups, the ages were 5yr olds, 6yr olds, 7yr olds, 8yr olds, 9yr olds and 10/11yr olds. The activities we did were high jump, sprints, 400 metre run, long jump, tennis, shotput and lastly we did the house relays. In the house relays we had a team race. The team's were Kea (red), Tui (yellow), Ruru (blue) and Pukeko (green).

Pasifica Mamas 2019

Today we went to the Corban Estate Art Centre. We made this necklace and it is called a lei. What is a lei? I am glad you asked, a lei is a garland or wreath.

We also did drumming. We used a skin drum and a log drum.  The skin drum was made covered in canvas and the log drum was made from a tree.

Futsal T4 2019

Hi my name is Shreyas, and this is my second blog. This is my friend, Locarno, and I playing Futsal. Our coach taught us futsal for 45 min. His name was Kingsley, he was a good coach. We learnt a lot and we had lots of fun playing games of Futsal! We played futsal for PE on every Wednesday.
