SLJ Week 2, Day 7. The Haiku Poem

Privet SLJ!! (hello in Russian.)

Today I am going to share about a Haiku Poem in the SLJ today.

 If you don't know what a Haiku Poem is, well that means that you might be ?? 

It's quite simple, So when you are writing a Haiku Poem, it has 3 lines, the first line is a poem with 5 syllables, the second line is with 7 syllables, and then the last line is with 5 syllables and it is all about the nature.

I would try this out most likely because it is a cool type of poem that you can learn at home or at school, or share it for the SLJ.

 Before I thought to make a blog about a Haiku Poem for the SLJ.

Slip 'N' Slide!!

 Slip N Slide!!

Hi guys,

Yesterday, the 10th of December, we did the Slip N Slide!!,

a slip n slide is a cool thing to do in summers, it is like swimming and like a slide, how it works is by soap and water falling down the slide, after that, you get to go down the slide and have some cool fun!!

What I saw when people were doing the slip n slide, they were running down the slide and making a superman pose. If you want to go to a Slip N Slide, you will need to wear togs/swimming clothes. What I did was... Have Fun With My FRIENDS!!! Here are some pictures of the class on the slip n slide!

 of games, like Quick, Draw and other games!!

What I liked about the Digital Circus was the Quick, Draw!!, because you get a word to draw and you have to draw it on this paper, then below it will try to get the answer, if  the AI says the right answer below, then he would say like Oh I know, its megaphone!, then while it will be guessing.

Summer Learning Journey!!

SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY!!

Today I am going to share about the Summer Learning Journey. If you don't know about the Summer Learning Journey, well while in the 6 weeks of Summer Holidays, we do this thing in the NZ clusters.

There are so many activities that you could do, I am from the Ako Hiko Cluster. There are a few type of activities in the Summer Learning Journey, one of the activities were Elements of Arts, Art Colouring Activity!! The teaser activity I did was the Art Colouring Activity! It's a activity that you find a picture to copy/ MYO and then paint the picture.  Here is an activity THAT I DID. Guess which one is fake/real?

Lego Workshops!!!

A few weeks ago, we went to the Lego Workshop. It was called, The Brick Pit.

When I was making a few creations, we had to make a group of 4, and there were 6 groups, we had to make 6 groups because 6 x 4 = 24. big brain. 

There was one station called the Cold Planet. Then the other station was called The stars. Then I will show you the other stations later. I made some cool lego projects.

We got prizes, I got a Blue lego brick eraser. the other prizes were some lego stickers,

and a lego platform. Here is some pictures of what I made.

Yesterday, the 23rd of November, I and my class did Bike Skills, without training wheels. We played a few different type of games and a few different type of skills on the bikes that we got.

There were 2 groups, one was called the Not So Excited Biking and one that was called I Am Pretty Excited Biking group, One of the games that I liked was The Box Game, so how we play is there is a wall that in between you have to ride in circles and circles while the wall comes closer and last person to keep riding wins!! how you could get out of the game is 1. By putting your foot on the ground. 2, If you crash into someone, you and the person you crashed will be out. 3. If you are not holding each brake with 2 fingers you are out. And lastly, If you go past the wall, you will be out!! There was a checklist called A B C D. A= Air Pressure. B=Brakes, C-Control and Chain, D= Drop Test. 😃Skateboarding!!

Today, the 20th November, My class and I did some skateboarding. We used one of the Skateboards that we got from our 2 coaches, 1 of the coaches were Ben and the other coach was Laurence. If you are a professional, you might know about these skills in Skateboarding. First of all, we started with a warm up so that in other training we didn't mess up, then we tried to do a 180 degree flip with the skateboard on the grass, if you think its easy, just do it on concrete. I did pretty well because I didn  train skateboard but now I do. 

Another type of skill we did is learning Tick-Tacks, if you don't know what Tick-Tacks are, on the skateboard, you move it sideways, so the nose of the skateboard goes with your left first, then the right is the tail of the skateboard goes second. Then my favourite, Crab walk, if you don't know what is a crab walk, its just like you move the nose with your left foot, then the tail with your right foot. We played a game called What's up, Wolf? Then we got a little time of free play. We had a really big exercise. When I thought that I got so good in Skateboarding, I felt like that I wanted my own skateboard for Christmas so that I can  have fun with it and be better with the skateboard. Production Show and Rehearsals!!

Hey guys, 

Today I am going to tell you about our Production, the production was called Jasmine and Aladdin. Normally every 2 years there is a production forged by Waikowhai Primary School. There are 28 Dancers and 47 people who are in the cast, and I was chosen to be in the cast. In the cast I was a Magic Statue, When I am a Magic Statue, I feel like I am a Real statue!! You guys might be asking, How long did the practice took? Well it took 13 WEEKS to do all this practice!! I felt I am going to some z z z z... well now it's 13 weeks past. If you were in Waikowhai Intermedite to watch it, well you could've seen me in Scene 3 with the other 2 statues. If you were not here, I am going to show you some pictures right below.

Welcome to Term 4!!! The last term. What we are doing right now, on Wednesday 14th October, the Film festival people who made it to the Cinemas went there. I made it there and my friends made it there. There were 4 films and all 4 films made it. Just in case if you don't know what is a Film Festival, a Film Festival is your own movie with a group of 5, when we make our film we use iMovie or Screencastify and the limit is 3. 😜Te Reo Comic Strip😜

😜 My Own Te Reo Comic Strip😜

Talofa'lava Bloggers!! The past week on 14 - 20 September it was Maori Language Week. During the past week the whole senior syndicate did the Title/ Thumbnail Te Reo Comic Strip. 

What is it? It is a Comic strip to say to other people like when I say Hello to you I would say Tena Koe or Kia Ora and if you were saying it, you could say the same thing. 

Was there a reason of why we had to do this? Because it's Maori Language Week. I can share with you what I have done on my Comic Strip but it's not finished. Here is the picture of my Comic Strip.

Basketball is a athletic sport that you shoot the basketball into the Basketball hoop. When we did the basketball training we used coloured balls and dribble, crossovers, in and out and behind the back. What was easy was Crossovers and Dribbling. 😃First week back after the second Lock-Down😃

Second Lockdown

Hi blogger's, Welcome to my blog after the second lock-down. We went to the second lock-down from the news shared to us on the 12th of August. There were 4 cases in the community and at that time we were on Level 1 and then we went to Level 3. After Level 3 we went to Level 2.5 after the second reveal. But while the first week of school we played Futsal that was Fun. We did some fun games and Film Festival filming while the first week.

 Hey guys, First week already of online school, that is Amazing because we all are having Fun. Boring Lockdown Again!!

 Hi Guys, OMG, Again, and again Lockdown has come back. Well for some people there are having fun because they never go school until Jacinda Adern says so till the 27 or the 21 August 2020. But now our online classes has started and... now we are all having fun. Since the last week of lockdown. Me and my grandparents were playing UNO too much. For 2.5 hours, and other card games. And we watched a lot of Movies on Netflix and YouTube that was really fun. Here are some Pics.

Matariki Day of the Seven Stars

Hey Bloggers!! Welcome Back in Term 3!!! 

The first week there was Matariki, the Seven Stars and that was on Thursday. 

What we did in school. We made kites with bamboo. We did a story about Matariki day with play-doh and... we made fried bread with self raising flour, with water and with anything like butter to put inside with some taste. The seven stars represent Matariki, Waipunarangi, Ururangi, Waita, Waiti, Tupu-a-rangi and Tupu-a-nuku. Here are the pictures.

Karate Tournament and Medal

Hi guys, now the Holidays are here. That is Amazing right? While I had a Karate Tournament for 6hrs, we had to do all the skills in karate. That is really hard to do all but... the BEST thing is that we can have breaks every 1 hour, So the total breaks are 6. There is so many staces you have to learn in Karate. In Karate the belts are starting from White to Yellow Tip to Yellow to Green Tip to Green to Purple to Brown and then Black Belt. Here are the Pictures.

😂Cross Country😂

Hi guys, this week we did Cross Country on Thursday 2nd July, the holidays are here for 2 week in about 1 day. Really excited.

So I am going to share what we did in Cross Country, there is so many activities like Tennis, Blindfolds, Handball, Games section, Cross Country Warm Up, then the last thing, The Cross Country Run!! And the run was really Hard and so Fun, out of 36 Yr 5s I came 7th place. If I came 5th/4th I would've make it to Zones. But the good thing is that Last years one I came 8th, and I bet my record I came 7th. Alright lets talk about Handball. Handball is like 4 Square but in Handball there is Pockets, if you don't know what is pockets when you hit the ball it doesn't bounce in your square it straights go on the other square and if you say Pocket and it bounces in your square your OUT!! Last one then Pictures. Tennis, in Tennis we have partners and we have a net that when we use the tennis ball and with the tennis racket we hit the ball in the Centre of the Racket. Ok now here is the pictures.

 Hey guys, I am going to do an Reading Post about Sunshine Classics. In Sunshine Classics we read books that you can read with yourself or you can with with Audio. There is books that I have read like The Lion Song, The Treasure of Stone Lions and other ones that I have read. After you read the book then you can do the Writing if you want to and the Questions, there is even a recording that you can read the book but you can't do with audio recording. This is Post Lockdown Creations for Week 7!!! Its amazing that now this is our 4th Creations since Term 2!! But this is our 4th post lockdown creations that I am going to share about today. Again every week we have to complete the Lockdown Creations and share the things on our slides from Monday to Friday. So how do we have to do not just anything. And that's because we have TUMBLES, we have Maths Tumbles, Reading Tumbles and we have Finishing Ones. When we write in the boxes, we have Descriptions and Reflections. Here is the Slideshow.

Lock Down Diary DLO

Talofa lava everyone. It's now Samoa Language Week but I am going to talk about my Lock down Diary.

 Why we had to be in Lock Down? Because of COVID-19. And in the lock down we had 3 levels. At the start we had Level 3, then after 2 days we went straight to Level 4. We were in level 4 for 4 weeks! Then level 3 because we had low numbers of cases, then Level 2 because we have almost defeated Covid 19. When lockdown started we had to do School Online from home. So in our school online we use Google Meets. We did our Lockdown Diary, Kahoots and Listening Exercises. In my bubble my mum and dad are essential workers  so that's why my mum and dad had to go to work in level 4 and my granddad and my grandma looked after me.
Back to the lockdown diary is one of the activities I did in Lockdown learning at home.

My Hardest, Difficult E-ako Work

Hey guys, FINALLY school is coming on Monday, YAY my friends are going to be at school, my schoolmates, my class mates, and a lot of more that's so exciting. Alright lets talk about the COVID-19 first so we don't forget but the bad thing that is quite hard is the distance like the sports, games or more you can't play with distance is Tag, Football, especially the Playground, no Sharing Food, Handshaking, High fiving and not sitting/touching together. Anyway, lets tell you guys whats my Hardest, Difficuilt e-ako. So the last 2 days I was figuring this page work that's like... I am speechless nevermind here is the one that is so hard. Hey guys, I hope you are doing some blogging in this week and Yay not my birthday, its going back on level 3 at 11:59 pm well... we only got a few things and the only thing I know what we can do in level 3 lockdown is Takeaway anyway yeah so Yay my 9th birthday is in 2 days and the sad part about the birthday is obviously we can't get presents cause it lockdown obviously but  the good thing is that we can buy ONLINE and that is sick even I forgot to tell you guys that yesterday we made Spare Vanilla Sponge Cake that is so yummy that tastes like an orange. My tooth came out...

Hey, first you need some happiness. Guess what I got my 8th tooth today, how i got my tooth. Here is how. Just a 3:00pm I was having lunch just after sleep, I had 1 chicken sandwich with a toast and hot cross bun and when I was eating the hot cross but my tooth came out, guess what, it wasn't bleeding at all but the good thing it came out today. maybe you will now maybe not know that toothfairy can get  the tooth in night. if you guys are free then please comment on this blog or my other blog plz. My own Bookmark.

Hey blog professionals. Finally i have made my own BookMark with so many gems. This took me ages to make my own book mark and it took me 5 hours, Here the 5 steps then pictures

1. Get any colour of cardboard. 2 Piece.

2. Cut 23.5 long and 4.5 thick on both piece of paper cardboard you are using

3. Put White glue in first paper cardboard and then put it together

4. Dry for 1/2 hours

5. Now you can put any stickers on your own bookmark
